As many of you know, this is Project HOPE’s 25th year of ministry. The question arises about how the financial health and stability of Project HOPE will be sustained down the road. With the encouragement of our longtime partners and our board, we have decided to form a foundation. The idea is to garner donation support through estate planning, the sale of stock and bonds, real estate sales or one-time gifts. The funds would remain in the foundation until a sufficient time of growth is reached to support sustainable withdrawals. In other words, the foundation would one day support our ministry expenses.
We are in the developing stages of this endeavor and will keep you informed as we move forward. Our goal? Leaving a legacy for the next 25 years and beyond.
