NICARAGUA
God is good, and we are grateful for every opportunity to serve Him and share His love in Nicaragua! Through our Construction Ministry, we finished Phase #4 in Silvio Mayorga, building homes while building relationships and helping a man begin the New Beginnings program to seek recovery and rebuild his life. We are also celebrating another intern who successfully completed New Beginnings and is now starting work as a welder, which is a beautiful reminder that lives can be transformed! Across our other ministries, two people accepted Jesus in the community where we are building during our Pastoral Ministry's work in Ocotal and Managua. Taellor's House continued home visits to pray for the sick and for God's provision. Our Children's Ministry shared VBS and joined the parade celebrating Nicaragua's Independence. The Women's Ministry celebrated feeding center parents graduating from Ministry of Family teachings, and our Medical Ministry blessed our faithful staff and volunteers with medicine. God is good, and He always backs up His work!
His Gospel continues to reach even the most remote places through a special Ministry in the Jungle. Eduardo, along with Pedro and Javier from Construction, visited five mountain churches, sharing the Good News through puppet shows, praying for healing, and rejoicing as more than 25 people accepted Jesus! On the final day, they met with six local pastors to encourage them through the Word, pray together, and bless them with water filters. The pastors were deeply moved, and some even cried because no one comes to visit them in these isolated areas. It was an incredible experience carrying out the Great Commission in the jungle, where God reminded us that no community is too far away and no person is forgotten!

HAITI
Recently, during a mobile clinic in Savanette, a 70-year-old widowed patient came to us carrying the weight of several chronic diseases. After examining her carefully, we gave her the necessary medication, and Pastor Duclain prayed and shared the Word of God with her. On our drive back to base, she stopped our vehicle and confessed, with eyes down, that she was hungry, risked not eating anything all day, and that I was her only savior.
These words pierced my heart because no medicine replaces bread, so I gave her something to eat for that day. I told her with humility that I was not her savior, and that our only true Savior is Jesus Christ, who feeds the hungry and never leaves the widow without help. This meeting reminded us of Matthew 25:35 and why we go to remote localities: to be the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus with those whom no one sees.

INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP
Every semester we meet new students from all over. One way we like to help them feel welcome is by hosting events or having fun cultural outings. At the beginning of this semester, we took a few students to a Cardinals baseball game. For some of them this was their first experience of baseball! We had a blast introducing them to our culture and making them feel involved!

EVENTS
On behalf of the entire Project HOPE team, thank you for making our 28th Annual Pig Roast such an unforgettable celebration! God truly blessed us with a beautiful day filled with deep fellowship across both our Springfield and Kansas City Pig Roasts. A few crowd favorites this year included fresh apple donuts and specialty lemonade. There were several fresh new auction items including authentic Alaska packages, weekend getaways, and the Dinner Around The Globe now offered in Arkansas hosted by International Fellowship students. The festive atmosphere allowed families and new friends to connect, reflect on mission trip memories, and live out our focus verse of Ephesians 3:20 together.
As we look back on this year's success with utmost gratitude, we are already dreaming big about how to make the event even better next year! You can also look forward to more kid-friendly activities, more seamless tech support, and fresh opportunities to get involved through our HOPE365 community or upcoming mission trips to Nicaragua, Haiti, and Alaska. Thank you again for your faithful partnership and prayers. We cannot wait to celebrate with you again on Saturday, September 18, 2027 (KC) and Saturday, September 25, 2027 (Springfield)!
